What can be done to get rid of eye strain?

If you spend long hours in front of a screen and symptoms begin to appear, first consult an ophthalmologist. It is very important to have eye check-ups at regular intervals. Even if you do not experience any problems, you should not neglect them. The cause of your eye strain may also be a different disease.

• Relax your eyes

Try not to stare at computer screens for long periods of time. If your job requires you to work at the computer for a long time, rest your eyes at regular intervals. Get up from your desk, relax your eyes by focusing on the window or something else. Make this a habit. Focus your eyes on different places at least once every half hour

• Reduce the screen brightness

The higher your screen brightness, the more likely you are to experience eye strain. Try to use your computer at as low a brightness as possible.

• Eye massage

The best ways to prevent eye strain are eye massage and eye exercises. You can do eye massage and eye exercises regularly to relieve your eye strain. Using your fingers gently, raise your eyebrows and eyelids for about 10-20 seconds. Do the same for your eye sockets, pressing gently.
