Dry Eye Syndrome
It arises from a lack of tears causing damage to the ocular surface or from the irregularity of the tear film due to excessive evaporation. In dry eye, there is either a problem in the production of tears or excessive evaporation of the tears.
It is due to the problem of tear quality.
- Itching
- Combustion
- Irritation
- Redness
- Overexertion
- Increased discomfort after reading, watching TV, or working at the computer
- Blurred vision that improves with blinking
