Keratoconus

It is an eye condition in which the cornea deforms and protrudes in the form of a cone, tapering forward. The cornea is the transparent dome-shaped layer at the front of the eye. This change, which occurs in the cornea, causes the incoming light to be unable to focus in the visual field. The result is blurred and distorted vision, making it difficult to perform daily tasks such as reading and driving. Keratoconus is not a condition that causes permanent blindness and can be treated in many ways.

Keratoconus is a disease caused by thinning and sharpening of the transparent layer of the eye, namely the cornea, with progressive myopia and astigmatism.
