Astigmatism

It occurs because the cornea normally should have a round shape like an orange, but not an elliptical shape like an egg. Those with astigmatism see the point shapes they look at as elongated and scattered. Astigmatism is a simple problem with the eye's focusing on light.

It is a condition where the cornea is not round but egg-shaped.

  • Pain around the eye
  • Lines that are clear in one direction may appear blurry 90 degrees in the opposite.
